| The beautiful Miss Tangi lives at Emeraldcity with her brother Lee, and had prime spot on our bed at night :-) Tangi is a stunning grey brindle bitch with her gorgeous Mother and famous Grandmothers wonderful headpiece. Her dark hazel eyes, small well-placed ears and correct short muzzle with a broad backskull combine to display the correct small-but-in-proportion cairn head with a melting, yet alert expression. She has correct harsh double coat with profuse undercoat, which is so important in this breed. Indeed, the coat description is the ONLY item in the breed standard that is stated as Very Important. Tangi won BCC and ru BEST IN SHOW at the 2014 NSW Cairn Terrier championship show, under well respected UK judge Mrs Ruth Parker-Tucker (Uniquecottage). Her critique reads: most attractive, harsh coated brindle. Lovely shaped head & nice eyes. Liked her overall type & construction. Nice level topline & good tailset. Very free movement & went with purpose. Showed all out. Delighted to award her CC." Tangi also won RBCC at the NSW Cairn Terrier Championship show in 2013 under UK judge Mr Iain Shaw (Honeyhall), another well respected breed judge. At 11.5 inches, she is perfect height for a bitch, and has been recognised by breed specialists as absolute quality. We thank Jill Saulbrey at Koterana for allowing this delightful lady to be the new 'Queen of the Castle' at Emeraldcity, and we look forward to many years with our dear Tangi :-) |
